What They say about Bodies

Stuttgart 2023

Curated by Yon Natalie Mik

The performance presents an invitation to become part of our social choreography as we continue to explore what it means to convene, move together, and make our movements public. We keep asking how our bodies can touch, hold each other, slide without collapsing, rotate, push or pause a few more seconds before approaching another with more care. We continue to ask how the choreographic knowledge gained from these moments of moving together can serve as a tool to engage in transformative dialogue with seemingly rigid authorities, social norms, or forms of discrimination.
